TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION :
The experimental unit consist of an open channel of suitable length fixed with screens for steady flow of water. different types of notches can be fixed to the open channel. A depth gauge is fixed over the open channel for measurement of head over the notches. a water sump tank with self-primingmonoblock centrifugal pump. The flow of water can be controlled by a valve.. A measuring tank is provided for measurement of discharge of water through the Section.This system is complete closed circuit type and easy to move due to wheels.
