TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION :
In a present cooling tower, series of fins arranged from top to bottom in such number that, water is sprayed/dropped at the top & it drips/falls down from to fin to the bottom fin. Fins provide maximum surface area to cool the water. Temperature at inlet & outlet can be measured with the help of sensors & digital temperature indicator. This is a typical Natural Cooling Tower & is widely used in small scale units. Its maintenance cost is also negligible. Flow Rate of water measured by using rotameter.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION :
The apparatus consists of glass shell with roller supports at the two ends & a gear connected to the motor. Wet feed is fed through the chute & dried product outlet point. Air is supplied by a blower. By pass valve & flow control blower enable variation of air flow rate through the drier. heating arrangement for air heating is provided measures air flow rate. Thermometer measures the temperature of wet feed & dried product. Wet & dry built thermometers enable measurement of air condition at inlet to & outlet from the counter flow rotary drier. The rotational speed of shell is evaluated by measuring the speed of rotation of motor & the gear ratio or by visual observation of a colored water on the shell & by turning the number of revolution with the help of s stop clock.
