4. To Calculate the Coefficient of Contraction of given Mouthpiece meter and Orifice meter
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION :
The experimental unit consist of an overhead tank with scale , at the bottom of
which orifice or mouthpiece can be fixed. a water sump tank with self-priming
monoblock centrifugal pump. The flow of water can be controlled by a valve.. A
measuring tank is provided for measurement of discharge of water through the
Section. A Horizontal and vertical scale is fixed for measurement of flow of jet.
This system is complete closed circuit type and easy to move due to wheels.
