TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:
The experimental unit consist of different fitting and joints such as bend , elbow , valve , union , sudden contraction , sudden expansion section fitted on pipes. a water sump tank with self-priming monoblock centrifugal pump. The flow of water can be controlled by a valve. A measuring tank is provided for measurement of discharge of water through the Section. The frictional loss across the fitting and joints are measured by using U Tube Manometer.
This system is complete closed circuit type and easy to move due to wheels.
