  1. To determine thermal resistance & critical radious of  insulating material.
  2. To determine Heat Transfer Co-efficient of Insulating Material .
  3. The experiments can be conducted at various values of input & calculation can be made accordingly.

EXPERIMENTAL SETUP : 

  1. Metal Cylinder with Heating Arrangement.
  2. Nichrome Wire Heater.
  3. Insulation over the pipe by glass wool & alluminium foil.
  4. Set of Thermocouples.

CONTROL PANEL : 

  1. 12 Channel Digital Temperature Indicator
  2. Dimmerstat : 0 – 2 A.
  3. Main On/Off Switch.
  4. Voltmeter :0 – 250 V.
  5. Ammeter :0 – 3 A.

SPACE REQUIRED :
