TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION :
The test rig consists of two pitot tubes provided with two differential manometer to measure pressure of air at the inlet & outlet side of the blower. Energy meter is used to record the power input of motor. Speed of the blower is varied by using reduction pulley or auto transformer.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION :
The test rig consists of Twin Lobe Air Compressor with an air suction tank, is fitted with an orifice at one end & other end connected to cylinder. The orifice pressure tapping is connected to one limb of U -Tube manometer on panel. Thermocouple T1, T2, T3 reads temperature at inlet ( T1 ) outlet Temperature ( T2 ) & ( T3 ) records temperature of air in receiver.
Energy meter is used to record the power input to motor & in turn the work required for compression. The control panel houses starter for motor, main switch, Temperature Indicator .

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION :
This separating and throttling calorimeter is designed for non-IBR boiler of capacity @ 100 to 300 kg/hr and pressure 4 to 10 kg/cm2 for throttling process orifice diameter is ½”.
The very wet steam from boiler is feed to the separating calorimeter. The quantity of water thus separated is collected in to the inner chamber provided with a graduated scale which indicated the quantity of water separated.
The fairly dry steam moving upwards from the inner chamber is subsequently passed on the throttling calorimeter where it undergoes throttling due to orifice.
Two pressure gauges are provided one at steam main and other before orifice plate. Temperature indicator with thermocouple used for measurement of temperature.
