LATHE TOOL DYNAMOMETER

This is strain gauge type two component lathe tool dynamometer designed to measure vertical & horizontal forces on tool while orthogonal cutting process. The unit is in two parts one is mechanical sensing unit or tool holder, which can be mounted on the top of the cross slide after removing swivel base & compound slide of lathe & digital force indicator. With this dynamometer students can study the change in these forces by varying Speed cut & feed.

JOURNAL BEARING APPARATUS

This equipment is Specifically designed for study of journal bearing characteristics like pressure, Eccentricities, Lubricating Bearings & Hydrostatic Bearing also can be studied. Same studies & its experimental Analysis of Reynolod’s Equation can be obtained. This apparatus can be used for different types of lubricating oils & journal Bearings materials ( Bush Bearing / Sleeve Bearing ) for the generation of static & properties of frication Bearings.

CORIOLLI’S COMPONENT OF ACCELERATION

Corioll’s components of acceleration have provision to study corioll’s component of acceleration of a slider crank mechanism. The mechanical slider system shall be replaced by a continuous stream of water flowing through a steadily rotating pair of tubes. These tubes can be rotated at various speeds by using swinging field motor which also acts as dynamometer continually measures torque applied to the rotating tubes. The equipment have self-contained. Water circulation pump.
